On Tuesday, 17 March 2026, the NITRO project received the Gold Award in the Cyber Awareness & Training category at the Cyber Security Awards 2026, during the official ceremony held at Sofitel Athens Airport and organised by BOUSSIAS Events.
The award is an important recognition of NITRO’s contribution to cybersecurity awareness, training, and innovation. Through the development of its advanced 5G-IoT cyber range, the project supports hands-on learning, secure experimentation, and skills development for complex digital environments.
The Cyber Security Awards highlight initiatives that strengthen cybersecurity and digital resilience across businesses, critical infrastructures, and public-sector organisations.
