Postdoctoral researcher Dr Stylianos Karagiannis (IURC) had the honour of presenting the European project NITRO Digital Europe Action (Connected 5G-IoT Cyber Range) at the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) from September 12–14, 2025.
Dr Karagiannis presented the project, highlighting the department’s cutting-edge research with a special focus on cybersecurity. The NITRO-5G–IoT Cyber Range platform was available for demonstration throughout the fair and provided visitors, professionals, and researchers with a controlled training and testing environment for 5G networks, IoT applications, and advanced security scenarios. Further demonstrating how Europe’s digital resilience can be strengthened through practical, hands-on experiences.
