On Wednesday, 14 May 2025, a targeted presentation was delivered by Ionian University at the General Hospital of Corfu in Greece as part of an awareness event addressing cybersecurity challenges in the healthcare sector and outlining a roadmap for compliance with the NIS2 Directive. The NITRO project was highlighted as an innovative research initiative raising awareness of emerging security threats arising from the integration of AI in healthcare and the dangers lurking from adversarial AI attacks. Real-world use cases and anticipated project results were also discussed to show how the project aligns with both national and EU-level cybersecurity goals.
