On September 27, 2024, the University of Piraeus (UPRC) presented the NITRO project at Researcher’s Night 2024, organised by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). This major event brought together researchers, students, and industry professionals to explore cutting-edge developments in science and technology. As a European project focused on cybersecurity, NITRO was proudly part of the SSL’s (System’s Security Laboratory) participation at Researcher’s Night 2024. SSL showcased its latest research on cybersecurity, 5G networks, and IoT technologies, which align with NITRO’s goal of advancing security in the era of 5G and IoT interconnectivity. The UPRC representative presented to the booth’s visitors NITRO’s status, scientific goals, and efforts to advance 5G and IoT cybersecurity.
